Vadori, Carla (nee Sattolo)

God called Carla peacefully, on Sunday May 8th 2022 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Elio for 60 wonderful years. Loving mother to Renzo (Linda). Cherished Nonna to Michelle (Mark), Matthew (Tory), and Robert (Victoria).

Great grandmother to Nicole, Samantha, Julian, Emily and Leo.

She is cherished and loved by extended family in Toronto and in Italy.

From a large family raised in Flambruzzo, Udine, Italy. Predeceased by her parents Antonio and Regina and siblings Derna, Irma, Maddalena, Ernesto, Mafalda, Alberto, Silvana and Vanilla.

A special thank you to Jannet and Rosemarie, two warm and caring individual’s that provided care, comfort and company for Carla and Elio in their later years.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W) Weston, on Thursday May 12 from 2-4, and 6-9p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Immaculate Conception R.C Church, 2 Richardson Avenue, Toronto on Friday May 13 at 10:00a.m. Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated by the family. Per famiglia e amici in Italia, al Santuario di Castelmonte Udine, un luogo che non ha mai dimenticato.
