It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carl Henry Ingebertson in his 93rd year of life. Carl is predeceased by his loving wife, Betty Ingebertson (nee Clarke) in 2018. He is survived by his daughter Carla (Jim Black) and son Clarke (Michele), grandchildren: Krista (Elliot Craig), Eric, Cassandra and Andrew and great-grandsons, Hayden and Austin. Carl lived a full and accomplished life. Highlights of Carl’s life include him being inducted into the Mutual Life of Canada Hall of Fame in 1992, and past President of both The Rotary Club of Brampton and Probus Canada. He will be greatly missed by family and all his friends. Under the circumstances we will be holding a private ceremony on Thursday January 7th at Ward Funeral Home in Brampton.
A note from Carl:
Though I’ve quit this mortal shore
To mosey round this earth no more
Don’t weep
Don’t sigh
Don’t give a sob
I may have struck a better job
Don’t buy for me a large bouquet
For which you’ll find it hard to pay
Don’t stand around me looking blue
I may be better off than you…
As Carl was a foster child himself, giving back after his good fortune was always important. Carl has a bursary fund which provides youth in the Children’s Aid Society with their first year tuition for their post secondary schooling. This will carry on with the help of family and friends and donations can be made at the below link:

Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the funeral service will be private.
