PARSONS, Catherine ’’Edith’’ —
Lifetime resident of the Fairbank
and Weston areas. Retired Teacher
of the York Board of Education.
Peacefully in her 99th year on
March 4, 2010. Beloved daughter of
the late C. Bentom and Maggie
(Snider) Parsons. Loving sister of
Lillian Crews of Virginia, USA. Dear
aunt of Don Parsons, Wendy
Duplessis, Margaret Charlebois,
Kathy Baber, Joan Parsons and
Clark Crews. Predeceased by her
brothers Fred and Douglas and by
her nephew Clark Parsons. Edith
will be sadly missed by her many
nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Family and friends will be received
at the Ward Funeral Home,
2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence
Ave. W.), Weston on Wednesday
from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral
service will be held on Thursday,
March 11, 2010 in the chapel at
11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount
Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto. As
