C. Diane Luckham

Diane Luckham passed away on Friday, September 21st, 2024 at the age of 85. Loving mother to Siri, Harri, Jung, and Sakina; adored by her grandchildren Keir, Calum, Brendan, and Jade. Survived by her brother David, predeceased by her eldest son Raam. Diane will forever be cherished by her family, and community in which she was actively involved. 

Celia Diane Luckham (Diane to her friends and family) was born November 23rd, 1938 in Brighton, England. At age 19, Diane visited Kingston, Jamaica where she married and raised five wonderful children. In 1980, Diane and her children moved to Toronto, and later Horseshoe Valley outside of Barrie. 

As an animal and nature lover, Diane was always at her happiest walking along trails with her dogs and family. Her favourite place to visit was the Wye Marsh near Midland, Ontario where she often took her grandchildren. 

Family and friends may visit her at the Ward Funeral Home in Woodbridge (along Hwy 7) on Thursday, September 26th from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Funeral service will begin at 1:00pm. Diane asked that anyone attending her funeral or service wear colourful clothing. In lieu of flowers or cards, we ask that you donate to the Wye Marsh in her memory.
