MURPHY, Burns Lewis - (Veteran WW II) Peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital K Wing, on Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Burns Murphy, in his 90th year. Dearly beloved husband of the late Kathleen (nee Sim). Loving father of Robert and his wife Marilyn and George. Cherished grandfather of Terry, Jason, Michael, Kathleen and Rosemarie and great-grandfather of Isabella and Emily. Dear brother of Beulah Jones and sadly missed by friend Lynn. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Riverside Crematorium (1567 Royal York Rd.) on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 10 a.m., followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
