Bruno passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on Sunday October 30, 2022, at the age of 88. He was the devoted husband of Agnese for 59 wonderful years and the proud father of Dennis (Maureen) and Paul (Gail). Cherished Nonno of Alexander, Brittany (Christopher), Courtney (Eric) and Dayna. Proud bisnonno to Aurora and Lucy.

Bruno was born in Ramuscello, Italy to Angelo and Vittoria and was predeceased by his sisters Maria (Elio) and Bruna (Tony). He will be sadly missed by his siblings Emilia (Gino) and Sergio (Luigina) and his many family and friends.

In 1954 Bruno made the brave journey to Canada in search of a better life for himself. On a visit back home he met Agnese, Bruno’s eyes lit up at the sight of his future wife to be. Bruno and Agnese were married shortly after her arrival in Canada in 1963.

Bruno was a proud member of the Carpenters Union (Local 27) and worked with Hardrock Forming for many years. He loved fishing and hunting, and many evenings were spent on the bocce ball court in the park. Bruno was always ready to play a game of briscola. Bruno’s two favourite soccer teams were Azzurri and Udinese, and he would be in front of the tv every time they played.

Bruno and Agnese loved to travel and returned to Italy on many occasions. Many winters were spent in sunny destinations with friends and family and great memories were made.

Family was of the greatest importance to Bruno; nothing brought a bigger smile to his face then when the grandchildren or great grandchildren were around. Spending time with Dennis or Paul filled his heart with joy whether they were helping each other out or just enjoying quiet conversation. Bruno was an amazing father, husband and role model and his quiet presence and legacy will live on in his sons.

Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, Woodbridge Chapel (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Monday, November 7 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 8 at 10:00am at St. Roch's Catholic Church (2889 Islington Ave, North York). Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

Bruno è morto serenamente con la sua amorevole famiglia al suo fianco domenica 30 ottobre 2022, all'età di 88 anni. È stato il marito devoto di Agnese per 59 meravigliosi anni e l'orgoglioso padre di Dennis (Maureen) e Paul (Gail) . Amato Nonno di Alexander, Brittany (Christopher), Courtney (Eric) e Dayna. Orgoglioso bisnonno ad Aurora e Lucy.

Nel 1954 Bruno fece il coraggioso viaggio in Canada alla ricerca di una vita migliore per se stesso. Durante una visita a casa ha incontrato Agnese, gli occhi di Bruno si sono illuminati alla vista della sua futura moglie. Bruno e Agnese si sposarono poco dopo il suo arrivo in Canada nel 1963.
Bruno era un orgoglioso membro della Sindacato Falegname (Local 27) e ha lavorato con Hardrock Forming per molti anni. Amava la pesca e la caccia e trascorreva molte serate sul campo da bocce del parco. Bruno era sempre pronto a fare una partita di briscola. Le due squadre preferite di Bruno erano Azzurri e Udinese, e ogni volta che giocava era davanti alla tv.

Bruno e Agnese amavano viaggiare e tornarono in Italia in molte occasioni. Molti inverni sono stati trascorsi in destinazioni soleggiate con amici e familiari e sono stati creati grandi ricordi. La famiglia era della massima importanza per Bruno; niente ha portato un sorriso più grande sul suo viso di quando c'erano i nipoti oi pronipoti. Trascorrere del tempo con Dennis o Paul gli riempiva il cuore di gioia, sia che si aiutassero a vicenda o che si stessero godendo una conversazione tranquilla. Bruno è stato un padre, marito e modello straordinario e la sua presenza tranquilla e la sua eredità vivranno nei suoi figli. La famiglia e gli amici saranno ricevuti…..
