Whyte- Bruce
It is with the deepest regret that we announce the passing of Everett (Bruce) Whyte peacefully on September 28 after a valiant battle against cancer at age 70. Affectionately known as “Whytie”, he leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years Deanna, and his three daughters Elizabeth (Mike) Horgan, Michele (Simon) Beals and Heather (Kevin) Travers. Beloved Papa to his seven grandchildren, Adam, Kathleen, Lauren, Andrew, Connor, Abigail and Braden. Bruce also leaves behind his sister Heather (Bill) Woschenski, brother John (Nancy) Whyte, and his many nieces and nephews in Windsor. Although our hearts are heavy, his loving memory will endure. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the many caring professionals at Brampton Civic Hospital for their attentive and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the William Osler Health System Foundation. At Bruce’s request, there will be no formal service prior to cremation, but the family would like to invite friends and neighbours to a Celebration of his Life at an Open House, to be held on Monday, October 3 at the Clubhouse in Rosedale Village in Brampton located at Sandalwood Pkwy and Hwy 410 between 7 and 9pm.
