Bruce Dobbin

Bruce Dobbin passed away peacefully on April 27, 2020 surrounded by his family.

Beloved husband of Deborah Dobbin, cherished father of Geoff, brother to Phil Dobbin (Coney), uncle to Becky (Tim), and family, and Greg, brother-in law to Dale, Jane (Gary) and Bob, nieces and nephews Dawn, Erin, Lucas, Brandon and their families.

Bruce loved nature, and getting away for camping trips was among his favourite things to do. He was happiest when he was sharing his love of the outdoors with his son and best friend Geoff. He was an avid angler who had many favourite fishing spots in Ontario and throughout Canada.

Bruce also had a love of photography. Whether it was on vacation or at get-togethers with family and friends, he always took many pictures and enjoyed sharing them with others.

Two years ago, after 42 years of working, Bruce retired. During his retirement he enjoyed listening to his extensive album collection, especially the band Steely Dan.

Bruce and Geoff never missed a Liverpool FC game. You could find them cheering on their favourite team most weekends, no matter how early the game started.

Bruce will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
