CRANSTON, Bruce Hamilton - August 11, 1935 - February 8, 2010 Peacefully, at home with the family he loved at his side. He is survived by his wife Laura, his sons Matt and Mark, his daughter-in-law Lisa and the light of his life, granddaughter Ella. Bruce was born to loving parents Inez and Hamil Cranston and with his brothers Kenneth (Dolly), Allan (Marion) and Wilbert (Lillian) and sisters Maxine (Jim Barry) and Anne (Fred Green) grew up on the family farm near Comber, Ontario. Bruce was a Ford Motor Co. employee for forty years. He was an avid curler and longtime member of the Brampton Curling Club. He enjoyed playing card games, skiing, travel and cottage life where he was recognized for his grass cutting and leaf burning skills. Bruce was a faithful member of St. Bartholomew's United Church. Visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home 'Brampton Chapel', 52 Main St. S. (Hwy. 10), Brampton from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Friday. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at St. Bartholomew's United Church, 22 Abbey Rd., Brampton with visitation 1 hour prior.
