Bruce Cameron

CAMERON, Bruce Bennett - Passed away peacefully with his daughter Barbara by his side on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 in his 83rd year. Devoted husband, of 62 years, to Doris (Coyle). Proud father of Bruce, Pat (Rob Allen), Barbara (Roland Gatti) and Bill. Cherished Poppy to six grandchildren and one great- grandson. He will be sadly missed by his loving sisters Dorothy and Mary and their families. Bruce's careers started with playing hockey with the Oshawa Generals 'No. 4' then continued with the family's restaurant 'Cameron's Grill'. He then joined the York Fire Department from which he eventually retired as Captain in 1986. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd., (north of Lawrence) Weston on Saturday, October 24, 2009 from 1-3 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel. Cremation.
