Brigid Gillan

Passed away peacefully in Oakville surrounded by her seven children and beloved brother Cahal and wife Kay. Predeceased by her cherished husband Seamus. Devoted mother of Tom (Gail), John (Martha), Seamus (Melanie), Mary (Craig), Dympna (David), Gerry (Wendy) and Brigid. Loved and will be missed by her fifteen grandchildren Ashley & Jaime, Jeff, Greg & Kaelyn, Griffin & Megan, Maryah & Michael, Matt, Brendan & Spencer, Aidan, Jenna & Tessa. Visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville (905-844-3221) on Saturday April 30 from 5 – 7 p.m. and Sunday May 1 from 2 – 4 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Matthew Parish, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Tim Horton Children’s Foundation would be appreciated.
