Barber, Brian Sidney – after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Sunnybrook Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Marilyn. Loving father of Brendan. Dear brother of Bruce, Carol-Anne Kirton (Laurie Bartley) and sister in law Linda Barber. Cherished uncle of Jennifer (Robert) Campbell and their daughter Raelyn and Matthew Kirton. Brian will be forever loved by all his family, friends and colleagues at the Toronto Convention Centre. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Saturday from 2:30 until the Celebration of Brian’s life in the chapel at 3:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Sunnybrook Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
