Brenda Meiorin (nee O’Meara)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 15, 2016. Brenda will be greatly missed by her beloved husband John, and her children Ann (Raymond) and Paul (Tiziana). She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Matthew, Sarah, Lidia and Chloe.

Predeceased by sisters Millicent and Stella and sister-in-laws Giannina and Gina. Greatly missed by sisters Mary and Eileen and sister-in-law Enrica. Though she was one of five sisters she was loved by brother-in-laws Dennis, John, Angelo, Peter, Marcello and Giorgio. Her nephews and nieces will always cherish her memory, as will Nora and Patrick and their family who were her life long friends.

Her years of retirement after a fulfilling career as a teacher in both England and Canada was filled with good times and travel with family and friends.

In the more recent years as Brenda’s journey with Alzheimer’s disease progressed she was fortunate to be cared for by Agnes. In the past two years she has been blessed with the addition of Rena to our family. Rena’s amazing spirit and positivity made the end of Brenda’s journey so much more comfortable.

Visitation will be at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7,Woodbridge on Sunday from 2-4, 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 8500 Islington Ave., Woodbridge on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 9:30 am.Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
