Boris Mandic, or Boki as his wife Valentina called him, passed away suddenly in Kleinburg, Ontario, on January 6, 2021.
Boris was born on April 28, 1980 in Sibenik, Croatia, and spent most of his childhood in the town of Djevrske prior to immigrating to Canada with his family in 1997.
How many times have we heard the saying “Live your life to the fullest”, however it’s a question whether most of us do? There is no question that Boris did truly live life on his own terms.
A loving husband to Valentina, a caring and attentive father to Jakov-Gabriel and Angelina, and stepfather to Sasha and Nastia. He was an adoring son to Veljko and Dusanka, and a loyal friend to many.
There was nothing mediocre or ordinary about Boris. His ambition, passion, and charismatic personality left no one indifferent. His generosity and hospitality towards everyone he loved, was a reflection of his upbringing, and a big part of his larger-than-life personality.
The sudden news about his passing has affected many. While there is nothing we can do to bring Boris back, we can all do our best to honour him and celebrate the life he embodied, through our prayers, happy memories, and kind thoughts.
Boris is survived by his parents Veljko and Dusanka, his wife Valentina, children Jakov-Gabriel and Angelina, and stepchildren Nastia and Sasha.
Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the funeral service for Mr. Boris Mandic will be private.
We thank you for your understanding and encourage you to provide your condolences to the family through her/his memorial page.
