Blandina "Lina" Vani

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Blandina (Lina) Vani on December 10, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Tommaso Vani and a wonderful mother to Vince (Mary) and Jerry (Andrea) Will be fondly remembered by her niece Anna (Frank) Conte and her family.

Lina was cherished by her grandchildren Adam (Chloë), Michael (Mike), Nicole, Stephen and Lucas (Viv). Their fond memories and her abundant love for them was ever present.

Nothing made Lina happier than being with family and preparing an entire meal. Her kindness, love and generosity will be cherished forever.

Friends and family will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge on Thursday December 15, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm & 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Roch’s Church on Friday, December 16 at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society.
