Bianca Iarusci

With heavy hearts we announce her passing while surrounded by family on Monday, March 12, 2018,; at the age of 85. She is now reunited with her late husband Francesco. She was a loving mother to Robert (Anna), Patricia (VInce), Vince (Joanne) and Frank (Renata). Cherished grandmother to James, Bianca, Paul, Steven, Nicole, Kristin, David, Julia and Mark. Dear sister to Rina (Vincenzo) and Livio (Giulia). Bianca immigrated to Canada (from Italy) in 1953 in hopes of starting a new life, one which included marrying her beloved Francesco. She worked hard to raise four children but never forgot how to have fun. Whether it was dancing up a storm on annual trips to Acapulco, attempting to throw a "strike" while bowling, or just spending time with those she loved. Bianca will be dearly missed but lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Special appreciation is extended to Dr. Vincent Maida, the nursing team and staff at Amica at Villa Da Vinci as well as Dr. Caroline Chessix (Toronto Western Hospital) and Dr. Sharon Shafir. Visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway #7) on Thursday from 7-9 pm and on Friday from 2-4 & 6-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church (2547 Kipling Avenue) on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
