Betty Butler

It is with great sadness that the family announces her peaceful passing with family at her side on Tuesday December 13, 2016 at the age of 74 years. Betty was born on June 6, 1942 in Harcourt, New Brunswick and resided in Oakville, Ontario. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was most important to her. Lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Murdock and their daughters Sheila(Fred) and Sherry. Fondly remembered by her five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; Roy (Jill), Christa (Tony), Ashley, Tyler, Nicole, Emmery, Ella, Reed, Maximus, Lyndsey. Cherished sister of Dorothy (Cecil), Lorraine (John), Bob (Carol) and Clyde (Myna). Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Maude, her sisters Madeline (Cecil) and Beulah (Ernest) and her bother Harry (Betty). Betty touched so many and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville on Friday December 16 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Saturday December 17, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, Oakville. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Oakville Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Will be missed however not forgotten.
