Our dear Mother has flown off into the wild blue yonder to join her husband Peter. In her ninetieth year, she passed away peacefully on October 24th, 2016 with her loving family by her side. Betty will be adoringly remembered by her children, Patricia (Walter), David (Connie), Heather (Alistair) and Brian (Sue). Loving Nannie to Megan, Ian, Jesse, Kylie and Adam. Survived by her beloved identical twin Joan and younger sister Pat. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation in memory of Betty at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Friday October 28th, 2016 from 4p.m. – 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday October 29th at 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow.
