Bertha “Cleo” Stewart (nee Taylor)

Passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the age of 87 in Barrie, Ontario. Predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Howard. Loving mother to Cynthia (Marc) Thibert and Caroline (Vince) D’Angelo. Cherished grandmother to Anthony, Katelyn, Emily, Jonathon, Claire, Douglas, Anne, Irene and Norman. The youngest of 7 siblings, she is survived by her sisters Juanita (Bubs) and Joyce. Special Aunt to David Burns. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family. Cleo was a proud graduate of the University of Michigan and a long time employee of the Etobicoke Public Library system. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035, Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave W.) Weston, on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 7-9pm. A service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1:30pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity your choice in Cleo’s memory would be greatly appreciated.
