Bernice Winckler
Winckler, Bernice Elizabeth (nee Costello), was taken by the good lord peacefully in Rexdale on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the age of 88 years.
Bernice was born on March 5, 1933 to Lawrence and Vera Costello. Bernice leaves behind daughter Denise, son Robert (Jackie) and son David (Tania). She is also survived by her granddaughter “sweetie-pie” Natasha (Brock & Bailie).
Dear sister to Lillian (Lloyd) Bond & Yvonne (Peter) Jomphe, sister-in-law to Joan (Allen).
She was predeceased by sisters: Edna (Norm), Barbara (Joe), Beverly and her brothers Eddie (Doris) & Garnet (Isabel).
She will be missed by many nieces & nephews across Canada.
The family would like to thank both Dr. Phillip Bedard, the team at the M. Lau Breast Centre at Princess Margaret and her family physicians, Dr. B. Almasi & Dr. D. Grotell (ret.).
