Passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on Tuesday May 8th, 2018 at the age of 72. Devoted husband of Frances of 51wonderful years. Proud father of Umberto Joseph (Julie) and Nadia (Lillo). Cherished “Nonno Bernie” of Jessica, Peter, Anthony, Melina and Daniel. Dear brother of Giusepina, Arduino, Silvana (predeceased) and Fernando. Fondly remembered for his zest of life who would always bring a smile to every ones face. “Always loved and never forgotten.”

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Church, 100 Bainbridge Ave ., Woodbridge, on Friday May 11, 2018 at 9:30 a.m . Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
