Kerk, Berendina (April 18, 1926 - February 7, 2015)

Passed away peacefully at home on her husband's birthday on Saturday February 7th, 2015. She was surrounded by her family. Beloved wife and predeceased by her husband John (Hans) (the developer of Deanlea Beach) and daughter Phyllis. Devoted mother to Sharon and Mark (Ingrid) and Aunt to John Kerk (Peggy), and to Ria Miksis (Ricky) and also nieces and nephews in The Netherlands.

Loving grandmother of Jeffery, Chantelle, Jodi and the daughters of (Ingrid) Shaheen and Yasmin. Great grandmother of four. She surely will be missed by her loved ones and friends that came to know her. Rest in peace mommy, grandma and hope you find your loved ones.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave W.) Weston, on Saturday February 14 from 12:30pm until the time of prayers in the chapel at 1:30 pm. Cremation to follow.
