Barbara Zwicker

BARBARA ANN ZWICKER, 74, Toronto, died suddenly on January 7, 2024. Born in Middleton, NS, July 6, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Eldora (Vidito) Zwicker. After graduating from Middleton Regional High School, she moved to Toronto, where she worked for SKF Canada for 45 years, retiring in 2014.

Barb was predeceased by her parents; the love of her life for 35 years, Ralph Welsh; and her brother David Zwicker. She is survived by sister Audrey Pearle, Wilmot NS; brothers Russell (Jean) Coldbrook NS; Lionel (Judy) Bloomington NS; Ralph (Kathleen) Chateauguay QC; Carl (Liz) Williamsburg ON; and very special friends Allison & Scott Cosgrove, Toronto, and their children Ambyr, Hope and Kylie, whom Barb affectionately called “the grand-babies”. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

As per Barb’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Nova Scotia, and Ralph’s and her ashes scattered as per her instructions.
