Best, Barbara (nee Kerr) – suddenly after a long and full life on Saturday, June 21, 2014 in her 97th year. She is now reunited with her husband Thomas Earl Best. Loving mother of Dolores (Dennis) Milligan, Larry (Sue) and Gerry (Kelly). Cherished Nana to 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Fred (Shirley) Kerr and predeceased by 10 siblings. Barbara will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
