Avis passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the age of 75. Beloved mother of Charmain (Jon), Maxine and Lorraine. Loving grandma to Ashley, Maxwell, Zyen and Sheldon. She is survived by her much loved brother Dennis and sisters Hermine, Claire and Olga. She was predeceased by her husband Charles, her sister Elaine and her parents William and Violet. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street South (Highway 10), Brampton, on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held at Bramalea Baptist Church, 9050 Dixie Road, Brampton, on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family
