Audrey Gordon Liddy (nee Macpherson)
October 25, 1921 - October 26, 2011
Audrey passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in her 91st year. She is survived by her son John (Liddy), daughter Diana (Brimo), daughter-in-law Lesley (Liddy), son-in-law Tony (Brimo); grandchildren Kelly (Brimo), Chris (Liddy), Eric (Brimo), Andrew (Liddy) and her cousin Joan Cook. Originally born in Montreal and lived in New York, Florida and Toronto, but her favourite was always the Ste.Adele chalet in the Laurentians where she was an active skier, golfer and an avid curler. Curling was a big part of her life and, in 1973, played in the finals for the women’s national championship. The most important part of her life was her family, all who miss her dearly.
A Memorial service will be held at the Ward Funeral Home 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville (905 844 3221) on Saturday, November 12, 2011 with visitation from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Service to follow in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Reception will be held at the funeral home.
