Passed away at Etobicoke General Hospital on Thursday May 13th, 2010 at the age of 84.
He is survived by his wife Gesa, his two daughters Elisa (Raffaele Giorla) and Rosa
(Chris Haynes) and his grandchildren Julian, Sierra and Allegra.
Many thanks go to the nurses of the Palliative Care Unit at E.G.H. and the
Pinegrove Lodge Nursing Home staff, where he has been residing for the past
four and half years. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home-Woodbridge, 4671 Highway # 7 (just west of Pine Valley Dr) 905-851-9100,
on Saturday from 6-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 pm and 6-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 17th, 2010 at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd). Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Parkinson Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
