ALDER, Arthur Leonard - Passed away peacefully at Peel Manor after a brief illness on Monday, June 24, 2013, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Jean (McDowell) for 60 years. Beloved father of Douglas (Lynda) and Thomas (Paulene). Dear grandpa of Elliot, Melanie and Ethan (mother Sandra) and Tyler. Predeceased by his brother Ronald (Elsie) Alder and sister Ruth (Dennis) Dusky. Dear brother-in-law of Helen (late Walter) McDowell and predeceased by Ralph & Merle Millar. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the staff at Peel Manor for the care given to Arthur during his stay. Friends may call at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main St. S., Brampton on Thursday, June 27 from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul's United Church, 30 Main St. S., Brampton, on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 11am. Interment Brampton Cemetery.
