ANTONIOS (ANTONY) DOUVIS 1929-2017
With deepest sorrow the family announces the passing of Antony who fell asleep in the Lord on the 11th of May 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Zoe, his brothers Xristo and George, his sister Vivi and his daughter Angela (Saverio). A devoted husband, father and grandfather to Raffaele & Zoe Marie. Family, friends and neighbours will forever remember and cherish Antony for his superior cooking skills, strength, loyalty, wisdom and love. He was happiest around the table with family and friends. A soldier, entrepreneur, farmer and outdoorsman, he led an energetic life and his enthusiasm was contagious. May his memory be eternal!
Visitation will take place at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1 Brookhaven Drive, on Sunday, 14th of May 2017 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday, 15th, May, 2017 at 10:00am at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church,
located at 1 Brookhaven Drive, Toronto. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery, Section 6, located at 7241 Jane Street, Concord, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Diabetes Association, The Kidney Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
