Antonios "Tony" Kotopoulis

KOTOPOULIS, Antonios “Tony” passed away peacefully on April 6, 2023, at the age of 94. Loving and devoted husband of the late Nefeli “Phyllis” for almost 68 years. Proud father of Triantafillos “Archie” (Linda). Cherished grandfather “pappou” of Nefeli (Joshua) and adored great-grandfather of Lena and Jonah. Much-loved brother of the late Evangelos and the late Eirini. Son of the late Triantafillos and Angeliki Kotopoulis.


Antonios was born in Athens, Greece, on January 20, 1929, and immigrated to Canada in 1954. He spent many years in the restaurant business, where he developed lasting friendships. He was an avid fan of both hockey and soccer, he enjoyed writing poems and had a strong interest in world politics. His greatest joy was spending quality time with his family.
