Antonio Triumbari
Passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on
Saturday April 8, 2023 at the age of 80. Devoted husband of the
late Carol Anne Montgomery. Proud father of Teresa, Elgin, Salvatore and the late Dominic.
Cherished Nonno of Anthony, Nicholas, Isabella, Dante, Matteo, Antonio, Kenneth, and Dominique.
Great grandfather to Antonio, Octavia, Lexi and Lillian. Tony will be sadly missed by his siblings
Giuseppe (Francesco (Rina), Clementina (Vincenzo), Esterina, Cosimo(Maria), Rosa
and sister in law Teresa. He was pre deceased by brother Salvatore, and Angelo,
Sister Maria, and brother in laws Pietro, Vincenzo and Francesco.
Tony was also leaves behind sister in law Barb and brother in law Victor and numerous
nieces and nephews.
Antonio has been reunited with the love of his life Carole and their cherished son Dominic.
Antonio was a man of many talents. He built his own pool in his first home, and later
when he moved to Bancroft, he built his own home over the course of several years.
He traveled to many places, including Bancroft, Nanisivik on Baffin Island,
Vancouver Island, and Calgary. As a young man Tony worked for the family soft drink company
driving trucks. He then ventured in to the mining industry which
took him and his family to many new locations both near and far. Later in life, he opened his first restaurant,, The Family Tree, on Vancouver Island. This opened the doors for Tony to create another restaurant and in--flight catering company in Calgary.
Tony enjoyed gardening, wine making and playing broom ball in and playing broom ball in Nanisivik water skiing and snowmobiling, but nothing made him him happier than having his family around the table enjoying quality time together..
Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge (Just West of Pine Valley Drive) on Thursday, April 27th from 2--4 and 6--9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Church 8600 Islington Ave., Woodbridge on Friday, April 28thth at 9:30 Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
