With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father Antonio Saladino on Tuesday July 30th 2019 at the age of 71. Antonio passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center surrounded by his loving family. Antonio is survived by his wife Angela of 45 years and his children Antonella (Rick) and Roberto (Natasha). Antonio was a devoted Nonno to his four grandchildren Celina, Massimo, Nicholas and Isabella. Antonio will be sadly missed by his family, friends and neighbors.

Born on January 6th 1948 in Ulmi, Salemi (Sicily) Antonio was the seventh child to Vincenzo and Diana. He often reminisced on his childhood "back home" and he had many stories to tell which included his siblings Michele, Ignazio, Teresa, Melchiore, Franco, Domenico and Salvatore. Antonio was an avid Gardener and a big fan of soccer, especially Inter Milan.

Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge on Sunday, August 4 from 6-9pm and Monday, August 5 from 6-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rochs Roman Catholic Church, 2889 Islington Avenue, Toronto, on Tuesday, August 6 at 10:00am. Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery, Toronto.
