It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Antonio Stellato.
Beloved husband to our wonderful Mother, the late Iolanda Stellato of 67 years.
Devoted Father to Nino (Paula), Marie (Joseph) and Nancy (Gustavo). Adored Nonno to Alessandra, Christopher (Deanna), Stephanie (Ricardo), Daniella, Marcus and Jacob. Treasured Bisnonno to Violet.

There are no words that can express how much we loved him and how much we will miss him.
Antonio or “Tony” as he was more often referred to, had a larger than life personality.
Everyone knew Tony. He was a very social man and made friends easily. He loved to joke around, loved to laugh and loved to live. He was as headstrong as he was caring. Stubborn in his ways, but loving in his heart.

He arrived from Rende, Cosenza, Italy in 1950 at 23 years old and built a beautiful life for his wife and family. His love for his family was fierce. He would do anything for them.
Tony saw them through many challenges over the years and was always there to help without complaint.

He loved his vegetable garden, salami making, wine making (and drinking), and a good espresso.
He also enjoyed playing bocce and Italian cards at the Social club and dancing a mean tarantella with his Iolanda.

He had a strong work ethic and was never late for work a day in his life.
He was very dedicated and taught his children to show pride in their work and life, which we hope we can honour.
He had grown tired, and when his wife Iolanda passed away earlier this year he missed her desperately. He wanted to go and be with her and we understand.
We will miss you Tony, our Dear Father. We cannot thank you enough for all your sacrifices. Our Family is not complete without you and Mom, but we find comfort knowing you are together.

Enjoy the minestrone she has waiting for you, and of course, a big piece of crusty bread and a glass of vino. Salute to you!
We will always love you and never forget you.

Memorial donations, to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
