Tony was born in Nogaredo di Corno, Friuli, Italy. After his military service in the Alpino Corps, he followed his father’s love for Canada and arrived in his beloved country on October 15, 1950. Shortly after he founded and successfully operated Tower Masonry Contractors where he, along with his partners in business, were part of the great building growth boom of post-war Toronto. He was a long-time member of the Toronto Masonry Contractors Association and mentored many in the construction trades over his career.
Tony was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who loved training and walking his cherished sporting dogs. When retired, he also enjoyed playing cards with his buddies at the Famee Furlane Club where he was a member for many years. Thanks to caregivers Shanti and Hodan.
