MASSULLO, Antonio
October 26th, 1956 - March 2nd, 2023

It is with heavy hearts we announce that Antonio (Tony) Massullo passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 2nd, 2023 at the age of 66, at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Beloved husband of Anna (née Giorgio) for 40 years, devoted father of Cristina (Maurizio) Trichilo and Anthony, and adoring Nonno to Elisa and Luca. Loving brother-in-law to Rose (Enzo) Iantosca, and fondly remembered by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends in Canada, Italy and the United States. He is now welcomed into Heaven by his cherished parents, Ferruccio and Maria Massullo, in-laws, Antonio and Gerarda Giorgio, and extended family.

Tony had a true appreciation for life as he was blessed with two extra chances to live it to the fullest. At the age of 12, Tony received his first kidney transplant; one of the first kidney donor recipients in Ontario. His second kidney transplant was at the age of 50.
A man who truly enjoyed his time by travelling, tending to his yard and garden, cooking, getting together with friends and family, and watching sports; especially hockey and soccer. Taking any opportunity to dance, whether it was an Italian tarantella or the twist, listen to music, watch a comedy, or simply enjoying an espresso with a biscotti.

Immense adoration for his family, he took pride in being a husband and father, and an even prouder grandfather as playing with his grandchildren brought him tremendous joy and kept him young at heart.
As devastated as we are to say goodbye, he will always be remembered as one of a kind and will be dearly missed as we keep his memory alive in our hearts forever.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South, Brampton. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 66 Main St South, Brampton, at 10:30am on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023. Entombment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga.
