Antonio D'Angelo

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one Antonio D’Angelo. He lived a rich and faithful life and passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2023 in his 92nd year at Kensington Garden Long Term Care.

Antonio was a loving man, who was devoted to his late wife Rosa for 60 years. Beloved father of Franco, Domenico & Joanne. He will be lovingly remembered by his extended family & friends.

Antonio was a devoted family man. He immigrated from Sicily to Canada, and here he began his own business. He opened a grocery store where he would work diligently Monday to Saturday. Weekends would be spent with his family at Sable Beach. He taught his children what it meant to be a hard worker and provided for his family.

Antonio will always be remembered for his love of family, kind heart, infectious laughter, and warm smile. He was truly a light in the lives of those he touched, and his memory will live on in the hearts & minds of those who knew him.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 11 o’clock at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. (300 Ansley Grove Rd., North of Chancellor Dr.) Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery (8361 Yonge St., South of Hwy 7).
