He then immigrated to Canada in 1985 and called Brampton his home, where he an Teresa welcomed and raised their sons. He took pride in his career with Senator Homes, starting as a laborer, then supervisor to the other laborer’s, he was a valued employee and served there for over 30+ years. He retired from Construction in the Summer of 2018.

Everyone will remember his infectious, loving, and full-of-life personality. He would light up a room as soon as he walked in and have people shout, “Hey Gil!” or “Hey Tony!!!”. His favorite colour was RED, which was the colour of favorite soccer team BENFICA. He would never miss a game if he couldn’t watch it live, he would listen the play by play on the radio. He was a diehard fan if there ever was one.
