Antonio Goncalves Alves was born on August 24, 1942 in Atiaes, Vila Verde (Braga), Portugal. He died on Thursday, October 11, 2018. He leaves behind his loving wife, Maria Teresa Alves, his three beloved sons, Rui, Herman and Dennis Alves, his cherished daughter-in-laws and his six precious grandchildren, Alexander, Gabriel, Monica, Grace, Anthony and George Alves. Family and Friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home (2035 Weston Rd.) on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 between 4 and 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church (49 George St., Weston, Ontario) followed by interment services.
