ALEXANDRE, Antonio Correia
Tony is survived by his wife Elvira, children, Michelle (Tommy), Lenny (Ceciline), Isaac (Erin) and his grandchildren, his greatest joys, Briana, Juliana, Shayla, Anthony and Emilia.
Tony was a quiet presence and observer – not one to ever be the centre of attention. It was in the quieter moments when his softer side would often shine.
In his spare time, Tony was an avid gardener and he spent much of his time cultivating, pruning and nurturing his garden rich with vegetables and fruit trees, which he shared with all his family, friends, and neighbours. There is perhaps no greater example of his attention to detail and commitment than the mastery of having the greenest grass on the block.
We will never forget pulling up to the house and seeing him sitting in his chair and listening to his radio while watering the grass and filling up the bird baths.
His nickname, which he is most famously known for, "Bigodes", will never be forgotten.
We will forever cherish our time spent with him and will miss him always.
