Passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 28, 2022 at the age of 84. Devoted wife of the late Gerardo. Proud mother of Maria (Giuliano), the late Anna (George) and Santino. Cherished Nonna of Nicola (Rosanna), Erico (Marlene), Anita (Rocco), Adamo, Natasha (Jason) and Gerardo. Loving Nonna Tita and Bisnonna of Gianluca, Angelina, Jameson, Matteo, Austin Domenico, Torin, Alexandra, Amelia, Luciano, Sophia and Milaina. She will be sadly missed by her many family and friends.
Annita has been reunited with her late husband Gerardo and her beautiful daughter Anna.
In 1971 Gerardo and Annita brought their young family from Italy to start a new life together. Landing in Halifax harbour they travel inland to settle in Toronto.
Annita will be fondly remembered for her love of her family. Nothing would be more gratifying than time spent with her grand and great grand children. She loved to cook for her family, dinners were the time to bring everyone together.
Family and friends will be received by the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Monday from 2- 4 and 6-9 p.m. A mass will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church 150 Bainbridge Ave., Woodbridge. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
