Annie De Haas (Van Eijk)
Born on July 11, 1929 in Boskoop, the Netherlands. She came to Canada with her family April 1948, who came to settle in Brampton, July 1948. Annie died while on vacation in Kawartha Lakes, on June 30/2010. Annie had been quite involved in her community, knitting bears and hats for various children services. Making many prayer reminders and decorations, for Christian Business Women association and Women’s ‘Aglow. She was part of Prayer ministries for Living Hope Church, Holland Christian Homes and Peel Memorial Hospital. Worship banners were made for churches and Afghans were made for Grace Manor. She was an active member of a Ladies Bible Study and prayer groups. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Cornelius (1970) and her sister Mary (1999). She leaves in the care of the Lord her children, Jacqueline (Brian), Caroline (Peter) Marlene (Rodney) and grandchildren, Keith, Katie, Natalia, Amanda and Corey, also her sisters Yozina, Leny (Les) and Betty. A celebration of life was held Monday July 5, 2010 at Holland Christian Holmes. She will be dearly missed. God be with you till we meet again.
