It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother Anna Spadafora, on January 6, 2022 at the age of 88.

Anna was born in Cosenza, Calabria and immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1955 where she and her beloved husband Carmine Spadafora devoted their lives to their family. They built a legacy on hard work, sacrifice, and the strength in family. We find peace knowing that Anna is now reunited with her husband in heaven, whom she has missed dearly since his passing in 2018.

She was a devoted Mother to her children, Adelina (Benardo Napolitano, 1991) Giuseppe (Silvana), Michele (Tina), Eugenio (Cristina), and Maria (Enrico Gerardi), proud Nonna to Elvira (Konstantino Smigadis), David (Kim), Carmine (Stacey), Michael, Anna, Lina, Nicole, Joseph, Peter, and Julia, and Great-Grandmother to Sofia, Elaina and Bernardo. Anna will also be missed by her siblings and their families.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home in Woodbridge, on Monday January 10, 2022 from 4-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday January 11, 2022 at 10:30 a.m, at Our Lady of the Airways Church 7407 Darcel Ave., Malton. Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or Diabetes Canada would be appreciate
