Loved and Forever in our hearts.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Anna Pipia on May 20, 2021 at the age of 91 after a brief illness. She was the wife of her late husband Paolo, who preceded her death in 2004. She was the proud mother of Domenic, Enzo ( Marianna), and Tony. She was an amazing Nonna to Claudia, Sandro (Jamie), Samantha, Julianna, Paolo and Noah.

Anna was born in Siculiana, Sicily and immigrated to Canada in 1960 to start a new life with Paolo. They both came to Canada to create a better life for the family they were going to have. Her life was her three boys and her husband. Her boys brought her many moments of joy and other motherly moments that only three boys can bring. However, her biggest joys were her grandchildren. The sight of her grandchildren was quickly followed with a smile that went from ear to ear and lit up her face with a loving glow. If she was ever down, all you had to do was get one of her grandchildren to call her and that was it. Anna's biggest passion was food and making sure that everyone was fed. Before she said hello she'd always ask if you had eaten. She cooked so many wonderful dishes and her food made so many wonderful memories at the table. She was often the last one to eat, making sure that everything was taken care of. Anna adored her family and in return so was she. She showered them all with her unconditional love and support throughout her life.

While we are all sad that she has left us, we are reminded of the love, beauty, strength and courage that she left behind. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts and her spirit will never be forgotten. We love you Cara Mamma ❤🙏❤
