With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Anna on February 16, 2025, at the age of 79. She was surrounded by her loving family at Hospice Vaughan, embraced in the warmth of their love.

Anna is now reunited with her cherished late husband, Aldo, with whom she shared a beautiful life built on love, devotion, and resilience.

A devoted mother to Sergio (Nansy), Carlo, and Sabrina (John), Anna’s greatest joy was her family. She was a proud and treasured Nonna to Alessia, Stefanie, and Alexander, who brought endless happiness to her life.

She will be missed by her brothers, Mario (Ida) and Franco (Rita), as well as her sisters, Elvira (Salvatore) and Concetta (Joe). Her love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews, both in Canada and Italy.

At just 19 years old, Anna embarked on a new journey in Canada, where she married the love of her life, Aldo. Together, they worked tirelessly to build a loving home, instilling in their children the values of hard work, integrity, and perseverance. Their unwavering dedication proved time and time again that anything is possible with love and determination. For all they have done, we are forever grateful.

Anna is also reunited with her beloved mother and her siblings who passed before her. May they all rest in eternal peace.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s memory to Hospice Vaughan would be deeply appreciated. Our family is profoundly thankful to the staff at Hospice Vaughan for their compassionate care, allowing us to spend every precious moment with our mother, surrounding her with love in her final days.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Parish (300 Ansley Grove Road, Woodbridge) on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
