ANNA MARIA LA CAVERA (nee BALDANZA) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 1, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Devoted mother of Maria Luisa (Mario), Josephine (Carlo) and Liliana. Cherished grandmother of Steven (Laura), Jacqueline, Lisa (Sebastien), Jonathan, Matthew, Oliver and Katherine and her two great-grandchildren Benjamin and Joey. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Joseph (Rosaria), Nino (Nadia) and brother-in-law Vincenzo (Maria). Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and many friends. Anna will be remembered always as a passionate and loving mother who dedicated her life to her family. She was an inspiration to us all and she will remain in our hearts forever. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (just west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Sunday and Monday from 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Roch's Parish (2889 Islington Ave.) on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
