Anna Kevins, born Anna Rita Petrocelli, passed away on February 23rd 2023 at the age of 56. It’s with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we mourn our dearest mother, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, goddaughter, grandmother, and friend.

Anna was born on the 28th of October in 1966 to Ida and Adelio Petrocelli in Toronto. Her family consists of her older sister Cristina, younger brothers Pasqualino and Luciano. She graduated from St Joseph’s High School in summer of 1984.

Anna had two children by way of her former spouse Mike Kevins. Amanda, her firstborn daughter in 1988, and Dakota her second-born son in 1996. By Amanda her beloved grandson Theo was born in 2008. Later in her days, she found her life partner Jim Jeffrey who she always said allowed her to feel like a bird freed from its cage.

Anna worked extremely hard all of her life as the main secretary of a local roofing company.
She had many passions but most of all loved to travel and see the world. She also adored art, writing, reading books, spending time with her family, and cooking. She always thought with her heart and she enjoyed the little things.

Anna battled 5 types of cancer throughout her life. The struggle she endured for so long was a testament to her strength within, and throughout all of these battles she continued to always think of others, her closest family and friends. She passed away surrounded by the love and light of these same family members and friends.

She would love to be remembered with funny stories and beautiful memories that celebrate what was good and blessed in her life. While she may be gone she will never be forgotten by the countless people who loved her.
