It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ann Sheppard (née Smit) born July 9, 1932 in Lisse, Holland. She is predeceased by her husband Wilfred and her eldest son Kenneth. Mom will be missed by her large extended family, who span both land and sea, and by her many friends. We will remember our Mom as a determined woman who instilled in us a strong sense of family. Loving mother of the late Ken (Catherine), Paul, Brian (Harriet), Brenda (Brock) and daughter-in-law Kira. Proud grandmother of Lindsay, Katie (Cal), Robert (Courtney), Joshua (Michelle), Jonathan (Ashley), Jessica, Jamie (Paul), Steve (Alex), Amie, Coby (Louis), Jacob, Julie. Adoring great-grandmother of William, Andrew and Ryan.
Friends will be received at The Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel” 52 Main St. S. (Hwy #10) Brampton of Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at CrossPoint Christian Reformed Church 444 Steeles Ave. W. Brampton. Cremation to follow.
