Passed away peacefully at her home in Brampton, Ontario on June 16, 2013 at the age of 77, surrounded by her loving family. Survived by her beloved husband of 46 years Garfield. Cherished mom of Genevieve King (Marty), Gordon King, Hilliard King (Joanne), Brian King (Paula), Bonita King (Melvin), Barb Martin (Claude), Robin Bennett (Dwayne) and Garfield Simmonds (Sabina). Nan will be sorrowfully missed by her 19 grandchildren and her 14 great grandchildren. Anita will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family in Ontario and Newfoundland.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Brampton Civic Hospital or Sir Thomas Roddik Hospital Foundation in Newfoundland would be appreciated.
