Anita Fiorini

In loving memory of Anita Fiorini

October 8, 1930 – March 28, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anita Fiorini who departed this world on March 28, 2024 at the age of 93. Anita was born to Luisa and Giacomo Martellacci in Veroli, Frosinone, Italy. In 1965, she, her husband and her family embarked on a journey to Canada, leaving behind her parents for a better life. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. Anita was a devoted wife to Americo who sadly passed away in 1998. She devoted her life to him and her family.

She is survived by her children Antonio (Pasquina), Bruno, Mauro (Emilia), grandchildren, Dave, Diane (Paulo), Joe (Natasha), Luisa (Dimitri), Vince (Meagan), Michael, Vanessa (Bruno), her great grandchildren, Isabella, Nicholas, Sofia, Melina, Gia, GianAngelo and her sister Mimmina and brother Giulio.  She will be reunited in heaven with her sister Maria, brother Mario, brothers-in-law Achille and Pasquale, and sister in law Mafalda.

Anita found joy tending to her garden which she would plant herself and share the fruits and vegetables with her family. She kept an immaculately clean home which she was very proud of. She was happiest when her family gathered together for a meal.  She always made sure she had plenty of food and ice cream ready when they came over.

Anita’s resilience was inspirational. She never complained about anything and always embraced life with a positive attitude. She will always be remembered for her happy smile and kind personality.  We will miss her dearly. May she rest in peace.
