Angela Mior

Angela Maria Mior (nee Giust), born December 26, 1925 passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on May 11, 2019 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her husband Luigi (Gigi) Mior, and her brother Giuseppe (Beppo). She is survived by her brother Giacomo Giust (Assunta), her three children, Leo Mior (Katie), Giuliano Mior (Silvana) and Anna Teed (Dwight), her four grandchildren, Lisa, Giulia, Bianca and Kate, and three great-grandchildren, Kendall, Kapri and Cyrus-Julius Giuliano.

Angela was born in Italy and emigrated to Canada in 1952. After retiring from a long career in real estate in 1992, her desire to support her community led her to becoming an active volunteer with the Liberal Party and was a lifelong member of the Famee Furlane.

Angela had a generous spirit, a kind heart and loved nothing better than telling a really good joke, particularly if she could tell it to you in Italian first.

The family wishes to thank all those who supported her during her stay at West Park Long Term Care and in particular her cousins Lena, Luciana, brother Giacomo and Assunta.

She will be missed by her family and many friends in Canada and Italy.
